Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Steve Olson, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, is responsible for the discovery of opportunities regarding industry leading products, services and solutions for small and medium sized enterprises through mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and utilizing internal assets in new and different ways. Previously, Steve oversaw Business and Marketing Analysis, where he was responsible for the company’s forecast and financial planning efforts including: customer and product analysis, business case development, customer service program evaluations, and Internet site and customer analytics.
Prior to joining Network Solutions in 2002, Steve spent 10 years at MCI Communications, where he most recently was the director of Strategic Planning and Business Analysis. He worked directly with the CFO and COO on strategic financial planning and strategic planning. In addition, he established the initial planning and forecasting tools for the newly formed MCI Group (a tracking stock) creating a $14 billion entity with six different operating units. Prior to that, Steve was the Director of Products and Pricing for MCI’s Mass Markets Division, where he managed pricing development for existing and new products, focusing on maximizing revenue and EBITDA. Steve has more than 20 years experience in financial planning and market analysis.
Steve is a certified public accountant and received his undergraduate degree from Guilford College, Greensboro, NC.
