Network Solutions Honored for Customer Service Leadership

BUSINESSWIRE – Network Solutions, the leading provider of Web-based solutions, is pleased to announce that Shelley Rawlings, senior vice president of Customer Service and Sales, was awarded the 2007 American Business Award for “Best Customer Service Executive” during a ceremony Monday night in New York City.

This is the second year that a Network Solutions executive has won a Stevie award at their annual awards ceremony. Last year, Champ Mitchell won “Best Turnaround Executive”, for his leadership turning Network Solutions into the recognized leader in helping customers use the Internet to enrich and enhance their lives. Network Solutions was also recognized as a finalist this year in the “Best Customer Service Organization” and “Best Executive” categories. This is the third year that our customer service organization has been recognized in this prestigious awards ceremony.

The 2007 American Business Awards ceremony was held on June 11, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best New Product or Service.

Hailed as “the business world’s version of the Oscars” (New York Post , April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.
