Herndon, VA – June 8, 2005 – Network Solutions (www.networksolutions.com), the leading provider of Web related services, has focused on growth this year; hiring 188 people in the first five months of 2005, between its Herndon, VA and Hazelton, PA facilities. This brings the total number of employees to approximately 600. With the company continuing to increase its staff, it will be relocating and expanding its Herndon offices in December 2005/ January 2006 timeframe.

Network Solutions will move to the Presidents Park I, a building in the Dulles Corner area located on Sunrise Valley Drive in Herndon, Virginia. The company will occupy up to 104,000 square feet initially, which will be split between two floors of the four-story building.

“Our relocation is just one of the many signs of growth for our company this year,” said Champ Mitchell, chairman and CEO of Network Solutions. “Within the first quarter of 2005, we launched our new generation of hosting services, which sold 4 times more than projected. 2005 is the year when Network Solutions has returned to double digit top-line growth. With our base of 4 million customers continuing to grow, we are accelerating the pace at which we introduce easy-to-use products and services to help our customers establish and enhance their businesses online. We are doing all of this while maintaining exceptionally positive operating margins and free cash flow.”

The move represents a nearly eight-percent increase in square footage from the current office, which encompasses 96,522 square feet in Woodland Park, in Herndon, where Network Solutions has been located since November 2003.

In addition to more space, the new office location will provide employees of Network Solutions with a fitness facility, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, delicatessen in the lobby and covered parking. The new floor plan will be 95-percent open, similar to Network Solution’s current configuration.

Mark Larsen and Dan Brennan of Larsen Commercial Real Estate Services (www.larsencommercial.com) represented Network Solutions throughout the site selection process and negotiated a multi year lease term. The landlord is Republic Properties of Washington, DC. Mike Jones of Republic represented their interests.
